Top 3 SEO Questions everyone want to know

1.) What is the Best Way to Get on the First Page of Google?
2.) How we get backlinks?
3.) Can’t I Just Write Articles and Put Them on Facebook?

1. What is the Best Way to Get on the First Page of Google?
SEO(search engine optimization). It is the process of optimizing your web site for the search engines. By optimizing your site in a manner deemed proper by the “Gods” (also known as Google, Yahoo, and Bing), you increase the likelihood of your site being ranked higher in the search results. Optimization of your site includes two steps: On-page optimization and Off-page optimization.

On-page optimization includes making your web site neatly organized so that readers and users can easily navigate through your web site and know exactly what each page is about. If you were to address on-page factors of your site, you probably would have to do things like change your URL from www.abc.com/123/45s=4 to www.abc.com/this-page-is-about-this-topic. Another change might be re-wording your title tag from “Company Name” to “This is the Service I Provide – This is the Name of my Company.”  I’d probably also recommend to take it easy on the flash.  I know having flash is cool and everything, but search engines can’t read a single bit of it.

Off-page optimization can simply be equated with the word link building. Link building is arguably the most significant aspect of appeasing the “Gods,” (or search engines). Imagine applying for a job which requires 3 professional references. Professional references are just like links to your site. They show that your site is worth something. So long as your site is being referenced by trusted sites, the search engines will take their link into consideration. If your professional reference is a low quality spam site, then the reference probably won’t be valued very much.

By properly optimizing your on-page factors so that they clearly explain the content and purpose of your site, and by acquiring links from trusted sources, you can come closer to achieving your goal on being the “first page of Google.”

2. How We Get BackLinks?
There are several methods to getting links. Some are good, ok, not so good, bad, and pretty bad. I’ll make it easy for you guys and talk about the good ones.

Directory Submissions – These are quick and easy. However, the best directories require payment (Yahoo Directory and Best of the Web) or having to qualify through a set of strict approval guidelines to be listed (DMOZ.) You can also do a search for “free directories,” and you’ll find several that may fit the category of your site. (Just be careful that these directories aren’t spam or of too low quality).

Blogging – Starting a blog and providing useful blog posts, news, tips, and articles within your industry is an absolutely great way to acquire links. Other bloggers and sites will link to your blog posts should they provide great value. Look to deliver value in your blog.

Press Releases – Write press releases and distribute them to newsworthy sites and outlets.

Guest Blogging – Offer to provide blog posts on other reputable blogs and ask for a link back. Bloggers are usually very open to this idea especially if you can deliver some valuable content for their site.

Social Bookmarks – Sites like Delicious and Digg allow sites and pages to be submitted for bookmarks. Submit a unique article, story, or video and attract links in this manner.

Link backs from Clients/Customers – Ask clients and/or customers to provide a link back to your site.

These are just a few of many methods that can quickly get you started in acquiring links. Always keep in mind that when engaging in link building, always strive to acquire links from sites relevant to your niche.

3. Can’t I Just Write Articles and Put Them on Facebook?
Yes!  I should add that not only should you just write some articles, but make it a point to write articles regularly.

Furthermore, don’t just look to place them on Facebook.  try some social bookmarking sites or news sites to distribute your articles.

Search engines love the idea of fresh content! A great balance would be to provide fresh, dynamic content and host the best content on your site while giving away the other content to newsworthy sites and high-traffic blogs in your industry.
